Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops have become more capable, acing our tests for cleaning and taking on various floor types. Choose models that permit you to select between a variety of types, including self-emptying and clean stairs.
Many of the top models are compatible with smartphones. Look for robot vacuum cleaners that lets you save maps, schedules and select cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The black and gloss gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available. It makes use of lidar to navigate making maps of floors and rooms.
When I tried the S1, it was quick to locate the downstairs area, which has linoleum flooring in the kitchen-diner and bathrooms, as well as carpeting of medium-pile as well as a large area rug. It was capable of driving close to walls and even across raised thresholds without issue. However it had some issues navigating down the stairs in one step. The S1 also did an excellent job of cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved effortlessly on its flat side against the floor, and then lifting itself when it was near carpet or rugs.
Before each mopping session, the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and fills up its water tank with clean filtered ozonated water. The dock also provides a deep-cleaning solution for the water. The S1's tank of water holds enough for about a dozen cleaning sessions before it needs to be emptied, though it will differ based the amount you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires regular maintenance to ensure that it's operating efficiently. In order to do this, you'll have to clean the water tank that is dirty regularly to avoid it from clogging. You will also need to clean your swivel wheel and sensors regularly to avoid them becoming clogged up with dirt or dust. affordable robot vacuum requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

This all-in-one robotic mop and vacuum from Ecovacs is a powerful option for your cleaning requirements. The Ecovacs robot vacuum comes with 8700Pa of suction power and comes with many advanced features like voice control and smart path planning that cleans around furniture and avoids obstacles. Its mopping capability is impressive, with rotating mops that actually lift and scrub the floor, instead of simply drag the pad across it. The mops can be dried and cleaned at the base station, if required.
The robot is simple to install and use, with a clear interface that walks you through the process. It also includes a hand vacuum that can be used to clean those hard-to reach areas that the robot can't reach. There are two water tanks that are automatically emptied or refilled. It comes with a range of settings that can be used to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a good vacuum cleaner. It has a powerful suction that can easily remove dirt and other debris that other robots have trouble with. Its navigation capabilities are good, too, even though it can sometimes get caught in the small carpets or area mats that I have in my home (which is something you can control by defining a virtual boundary in the application). Its mopping capabilities are also very good with a pair of spinning mop heads that lift and scrub the floor instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mops can be cleaned using heated water and dried in the basestation as needed. The mops can also be refilled at the top of the station when required.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was launched earlier this year. But their latest flagship model has even more impressive features. It delivers outstanding cleaning results and is simple to maintain. This makes it a contender for our top list of robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition, and an extended side brush guarantee a thorough, custom-designed clean.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, it can remove both large and fine debris. It is a great choice on hard floors and carpets. It also cleaned the most filthy areas well, and keeping pet hairs from getting caught in knots and other dirt. The sweeping performance is augmented by an additional side brush that automatically moves out to tackle difficult-to-reach corners, and an extending mop pad that is placed along baseboards.
Its navigation is intelligent it can navigate through small spaces and negotiating stairways without skipping a step. It can easily move from one room to another without changing direction, which is a handy feature for larger homes with several rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is not as advanced than that of some competitors and leaves a wide margin between obstacles. This can lead to missing spots.
The interface of the app is simple and easy to use. It should be easy to use for novice and experienced users. The app lets you plan and manage cleanings, change suction power and mopping settings, view 2D and 3D maps, and much more. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. However, you will require a stable internet connection to use it through the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
Robot vacuums are excellent at removing dirt and debris, but they can't reach all dust. That's why it's important to use your regular vacuum once a week, especially to remove dust from corners, on shelves, and in the corners of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums and mop, is designed to do just that. It's easy to connect to your home WiFI network and it works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, which includes the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It is equipped with the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but it saves price by eliminating the mopping functionality and by using a lower-cost plastic body.
Although it's no longer able to clean your floors, the Q5 has some of the best vacuum and mopping performance we've seen from a robotic at this price. It's got a powerful suction power of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system which means you don't need to empty the bin manually every time. It also features a smart app that lets you set your floor's type and schedule cleanings. It also has an automatic water tank refill and wash system that allows hands-free operation.
The mops are also quite impressive, with 2700Pa of power to take on dust, dirt, and pet hair on hard floors and carpets. The Q5 was among the few robots we tested did not show problems with high-pile carpets and rugs. However, it did not remove kitty-poop or cable tangles. This isn't surprising as it doesn't contain AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the most quiet robovacs that we have tested, it also has a unique method to map your home, which will allow it to enter the corners and tight spaces that other vacuums can't reach. It also is able to collect more dust in the larger bin, meaning that you don't need to empty it as often. It also has washable filters which can further cut costs. This robot can detect carpets, and boost suction if necessary. You can also mark off areas you would like to keep out of the app.
